Every once in awhile there comes along an event that defies logic and goes unexplained. This may very well wind up being another one. It was like an eerie scene from a horror flick. On New Year's Eve, in Arkansas, thousands of blackbirds died and crash landed all over streets, roofs, and backyards. U.S. officials were trying to figure out how this could have possibly happened. Some officials think that high winds and tornadoes, in the area, could have caused the bizarre event. Another theory is that maybe fireworks shot in the area could have stressed the birds out so much that they got disorientated. And maybe even lightening could have struck the flock and killed the birds. About 100 dead birds were sent to laboratories in Georgia, Arkansas and Wisconsin for examination. We won't know for sure until these tests results come back. So what do you think happened? Everybody rules out the possibility of a disease or virus. Is that just to cover up some experiment gone bad? Is this just the beginning of other animals dying off in the future? And last but not least, is this one of the first signs of the end of the world? What do you think happened? Why did all of those birds die?
