It has been a long and tired journey to make it this far. I haven't been updating my blog regularly because I was in the hospital for the last 2 and a half months. I went through a lot of tests; from MRI's to Bronchoscopes and everything in-between. I have had blood taken and have had blood transfusions. It has taught me to never take anything for granted; even the simplest things. Before I was admitted in the hospital, I got to the point that I couldn't even walk. Thank God that an ambulance was called for me when it was because I was just laying in bed scared of what the diagnosis would be when I did actually go to the hospital. It was a miracle when, out of the blue, my family showed up and off to the hospital I went. It was scary but, at the same time, I was relieved that I was finally getting the help that I was afraid to ask for. First, I went to ICU and then it was to the 8th floor to a medium sized room that would wind up being my home for the duration of my stay. I was isolated there and couldn't leave my room for anything but tests and x-rays. All I saw were the fours walls that surrounded me, doctors, and nurses. My computer went on the fritz a couple of weeks earlier so I didn't have a way to update. But, now that I am back, I will keep the topics coming regularly. Thanks for any comments and thanks for following!
